At first I wasn't into my costume at all - I mean I liked the idea of Lion's and I was practicing my 'roar', but it was itchy or something and I did not like having my hood up. Maybe it was the weather as it was close to 70 in Indiana where I was for Trick or Treating. I didn't understand the Halloween outing at first but quickly I learned after watching both Luke and Gretchen go to the doors. Mom 'rehearsed' with me on what to say 'trick or treat' but then she would always throw me off when we were up at the door because she would ask, 'what do you say' and of course I said, 'Please'. That's what she is normally looking for. I figured it out though and especially after the 2nd house and seeing m&m's. After I realized that if I walk up to the house I was going to get candy! Now mom and dad are worried that I'll be non-stop asking for candy - not just gum but now gum and candy. I got some m&m's out of it though - YUMMY. Since this was my first 'Trick or Treating' experience I think it will be something I do annually. :)
Lucky Aunt Jill and dad pulled me in their wagon because after awhile Gretchen and Luke were wanting to go faster and I guess I was taking too long (I was very interested in checking out what people gave me)... so the wagon worked out well.
