Artic Blast Phase III - to come!

When Monday morning came around and I received the communication that Nike was going to be closed the rest of the week - I smiled and sighed and was in a really good mood! No more worrying about or feeling like I should try and go in. We got over a foot of snow here at the house and in the Portland Metro area - crazy and loving every bit of it. I read that historically this is the biggest snow storm since 1980. And tomorrow, Christmas Eve we are suppose to get another 4-8"... exciting and a good year to not fly out of PDX and not really have any plans. Although I know I have 'cabin fever' and was glad to hit the neighbors last night for some Christmas cheer.
It's been fun seeing everyone outside walking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, 4wheelers (lot's of 4 wheelers), riding bikes (yes, in the snow), dogs pulling people on their snow boards and snow mobiles just by looking out the front window or walking to the park.
Unfortunately Bailey has been fighting a cold and last night I think it took her over. She's been running a high temperature and wanting mom all day today. So much for getting anything done but how nice to only have to worry about Bailey and snuggle up with her on the couch! I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas time. We will be thinking of our family and friends!
