This long labor day weekend was not what anyone had in mind and a lot of sick kids this past week and long weekend! As mentioned in last posting - Parker got sick Sunday/Monday and was out through Wednesday when we got the phone call to pick Bailey up from school as she had a 103 temp... and then the not so fun things began. Bailey I think ended up getting the virus worse as it took her out all through the long weekend and was better today but we kept her home one other day just to make sure. Boo!

But we did get some random house projects done and are pretty happy with the results. I'll post a photo of the project next. It was nice to hang around the house and do some cooking and baking - which is something we like to do but don't always make time for it. One of the mornings we enjoyed some banana muffins!


we also made peach crisp, stuffed jalapeno peppers with goat cheese and caprise salad to name a few items. Yummy!
