Our chickens first egg!

Our first egg has arrived! Oct 13, 2010 - it's quite small but I guess that's how they start. I hope the other chickens catch on and start laying as well. It will now be more fun in the morning when Dave goes out and checks on the chickens. We have a hay stack leaned up against the outside part of the coop and that's where one of the hen's decided to lay. Now that the cold and dark days are moving in we'll see how long we actually get eggs!
