Pumpkin patch 2010

The pumpkin patch - and what wonderful weather we had for the day. It was absolutely beautiful and although I had to prepare myself ahead of time knowing how 'busy' the place would be I don't think it really mattered since the weather was so wonderful. We met a big group of friends there but only saw them momentarily while we went our separate ways to explore the large hay stacks to climb on, venture through the corn maize or head out to the pumpkin fields to pick your prized pumpkins! We did exactly that and like we've learned in the past we brought the best wagon for the job.
It successfully carried back 7 pumpkins! Dave got the chance this time around to ride 'ol Chloe' with Bailey. Sophia and family rallied with us on the pumpkin picking and walk back with all of the pumpkins and Brad and Dave took the girls for the cow rides.
I always like hitting the produce farm store where we stock up on the fall harvest - sweet potatoes, red potatoes, onions, Brussel sprouts (favorite), butter nut squash, etc... I love this time of year for cooking!
