BetsieFest 2012

The 'Betsie' Table - Cicely and Sarah did such a great job working on this.
They took a collection of buttons that Betsie had and made beret's using the buttons'
on top.  Such a cute idea and everyone got one!

We stepped up the 'recycling' area and made it as clear as possible
where everything went - We even had a 'compost' bucket!  Portland
now encourages all household's to compost and to put the compost in
the yard debris can...unless you have your own compost.

Here's the Recycle sign that we made and Bailey and Parker painted
the letters and drew the flowers.  They had fun painting the sign!

This year we added the 'kid's parade' - a friend Cicely sewed the
Sign and the kid's made shakers that Michelle put together
and each of the kid's could decorate.  Such a great idea - and
we got a break from the rain so the kid's were able to parade around.

Parker enjoyed the face painting and thought the music was a little loud inside the barn.
Lucky we have our headphones!
A few of the girls dancing to the music in the barn.  Bailey did well dancing
with the younger kid's.  Christy and Brad did too!

Bailey wanted a rainbow on her face - she's really into rainbows these days.
and now since we've been getting close to St. Patricks' Day there's been  treasures
and pot's of gold too.  Bailey has been wearing her big pink flower clip a lot - she
wanted to in this picture but it was cold outside!
