This is the first Easter that I remember where we've had sunshine and warm weather! It was nice... I woke up early and went for a morning run which started off Easter morning nicely. The girls found their Easter baskets when they woke up in the morning - Parker was up for a while but had no idea so she didn't do much until Bailey woke up. Bailey's favorite was her golden retriever puppy stuffed animal. Parker not sure - was just happy to have gum and candy.
We had a nice day meeting my friend Amy and her family at church and then we had 3 families over to our house for lunch and Easter egg hunt for the kid's. We took advantage of the nice weather. Bailey understands Easter a little - I think she get's it and we try to tell her it's not about the 'Easter basket's' and treats... but us American's have done a good job on making it part of the norm.
