David put down our official walkway leading
from the back porch (we still need to build our
back porch) to the chicken coop.  We used the
stepping stones out of the broken up concrete
paths on the sides of the house.  Slowly but surly
we'll have a working yard!

The light doesn't help this photo but Dave has now raked and
cleared out most everything in the backyard, and has put down
lots of grass seed.  The wood sticking up will be used for one raised garden bed.  Isn't this a great space for a trampoline?

We planted 7 blueberry bushes - 3 varieties.  I can't wait for
the next few years when we hopefully will actually be able
to pick lots of blueberry's.  I think the kid's will like that!!

On Earth day we planted a small pear tree in our front
yard landing strip.  We think we'll still get lots of
sun in the front and will continue planting a garden
in the front raised beds - last year our garden did awesome
in those bed's.
