I don't think I really ever truly appreciated 'mother's day' in the past - of course I appreciate my mom but I'm really about experience and I think for me I need to experience things before appreciating them sometimes and for sure NOW after having kid's of my own - I truly appreciate everything my mom did for me and continues doing....
I thought I'd share Bailey's letter to me that they helped her with at school for mother's day.
'I like to kiss her. Mama likes to swing me around in circles. We like to make forts. Her name is Amy. I call her Mommy. She looks like my mommy. Her hair is like chocolate and her eyes are like blueberries. Her job is to work at Nike. She likes to work. She's really good at doing yoga and making forts for me. She makes pies for me and cupcakes and cookies. At our house she works on the computer. I like to go to the grocery store to get food like tomatoes. She gardens and grows strawberries and raspberry bushes. She tells The Three Bears. She tickles me to make me laugh. She sometimes makes my hair pink and puts sparkles on me. I love her a million. Love, Bailey'
Instead of ice cream cones, I made Carrie (neighbor) and I some yummy banana daiquiris! |

I had never been to Alberta Park - and look at this awesome slide. The girls enjoyed sliding down but I quickly realized when wanting to slide down that it's not really made for an adult! |
