Spring All Comer's Track meets!

Bailey lining up for the 400 meter run!  She wouldn't run
the 100 but wanted to run the 400!  We came straight from
school - always making things at the last minute!

Bailey has a nice stride... she did great in the 400 - got 2nd place for her age!
She insisted running the 800 next... I tried to explain that it was 2 laps around
and that it's a hard race.  We tried talking her into running the 200 but when
the kid's lined up for the 800 she ran out there.  She did the 400 and then
realized how hard it was and said she couldn't go around another time!
She was in tears...it's a hard race and you need to train for that - perhaps
she realized how tough it was but we'll see what she decides to do this next week!
I'm guessing she will opt out of the 800 for sure!  Also not in the photo Parker
was rather excited about running on the track.  I better get to the track early this
Thursday so Parker can run the 100 dash.  When Bailey lined up for the 800 Parker lined
up right there with her and took off behind everyone for over 100 meters.  It was super cute.
