the kid's get so excited for block party and wish we could do it every weekend! They get full range of the street. We put up the barricades around 11:30am after the kid's wouldn't stop asking when we were going to put up the barricades.
We had lot's of chalk drawings on the street, water balloon toss and fights, hula hooping, and movie time at dusk. It was a fun day/night!
