2013 wrap up!

2013 - all the good things. 

Dave spent his 2013 accomplishing many things on our house and taking care of our girls! 

We have:

new re-structured garage and Eco roof. 

Newly painted house (which created lots of work to accomplish this one large task - picking out the colors alone was a huge challenge for us)!

Continuous work on our 50x100 lot - gardening improvements. 

Sided the chicken coop and added brick layer to bottom of coop. 

Almost completed our new back porch - still have the hand rails to add but mostly finished. 

All the while starting Parker in a new dance school which we think she is enjoying but would rather stay home with dave!  Parker learned to ride her bike without training wheels this spring/summer (when she was 3) and got up on snow skis early 2013 and rope climbed at Smith rock early spring. 

Bailey loves her 1st grade teacher and things are going well for Bailey. She was on her first soccer team this year and really liked playing the sport. I have a feeling there will be more soccer in the future.  Bailey got up on water skis this summer and snow skis in early 2013. 

She roped climbed outside for the first time and made it to the top!  

I enjoy writing about my family not so much myself... Which has been my problem these past few years in figuring out the next chapter of my life. 

Although I can talk about the fun times I've had a long the way - up at the mountain skiing and playing in snow. 

My sister visits while dave is on guys ski trip to CO. 

Our awesome spring break trip to Bishop, CA to climb and enjoy camping and sunshine. 

Mother's Day weekend camping climb trip to Smith Rock with our family and friends. 

Hetheringtons visit twice this year!

Indiana trip - Katie's high school graduation and party. Enjoying the lake house and celebrating ggmoms 90th birthday. Hanging with some old friends and rocking out at Dillon concert in style. 

Chicago wedding - Janelle gets married!

Summer camping!

Burton's visit and watching the girls while dave and I escape to Vermont for a fun trip and wedding weekend for justin and Gina Carlstrom. 

My trip to Uganda... Ever lasting. 

And finally we went in with the Gentles and renting a house/condo in government camp (Mt. Hood) through end of February 2014.  Where I am very thankful we are doing. And gives me hope that we continue this tradition before the kids are too busy doing sports and other things/activities on the weekends. 

Oh and work is work!
