Happy 2015!

Another new year is here - A look back!
We started the year off much like where we are today - up at the mountain house in Government camp, OR. We were up at the mountain every weekend and any other time we could squeeze in through mid-march 2014.
Bailey was in Mogul busters (a kids group ski lesson) for 4 weeks. Both Parker and Bailey learned to ski by us skiing with them but the lessons are great to get them working more on technique and really figuring out how to get down the mountain.

*Mountain house through mid March
2014
*spring break week - we traveled and explored, Seattle (stayed with Dave's cousin), Smith Rock (Climbing/camping) and Bend, OR (Mt. Bachelor skiing).  Where else can you drive to and explore a big city, desert for rock climbing and mountains to ski.  Too bad we didn't have time to hit the coast!  we are blessed!
*Our friends Dana and Nick's 'Blizzard' wines is off the ground and Dana has been making some yummy wine. She has been for awhile but she's really been distributing her wine to more places.  We're really excited for them and inspired by the way they continue living their dream.
*We took a van trip back out to Smith rock to climb with the girls for Mother's Day weekend! Selfs and scott and Kai joined us this year.
*Spring track and field events at Grant park. The girls really loved running these
Races. Bailey not only ran the 100, 200 and 400. She also ran the 800!  Parker ran the 100, 200 And 400!
*Bailey played spring soccer and loved it.
*Parker ended her dance school class and had her final performances. She really likes dance and balet.
*Bailey finished 1st grade!
*Both girls participated in summer track st Grant park Alcomer meets.
*Bailey ran her first 5k race!
*Summer van camping adventure to Glacier National Park for the week.
*Multiple camping trips to various places around Oregon/Washington.
*Parker and Bailey participated in soccer summer camp.
*At the beach over 4th of July long weekend.
*Bailey and Parker player fall soccer (Parker's first time with soccer).
*Burton's come to visit in Sept. Lots of canning and garden cleanup.
*Parker turns 5!
*Bailey turns 8!
*Hetheringtons visit in December.
*House projects completed; planting of the Eco roof, back yard irrigation and Rain barrels set.  Large garden in back yard. Side yard irrigation system installed and rain chains.  Front porch refinished. Multiple small projects of framing and finishing around the porch.
*now we are renting same place in Gocernment camp with two other families through April!

Whoo what a year - went by fast. Personally I think it's been a great year. A growing year for me trying to figure out what our next chapter of our life is with our family. Dave has been contracting more these last few months and continues to hold the house down and enjoys the constant juggle of the kids and logistics for school, etc.
*I started a community workout in the mornings twice a week. Since May I've been getting up at 5:45am to meet with the group. It's been fun and it assures I get in at least two good workouts a week!
