Finally... it's really happening! While we were visiting Washington DC - finally everything came together and we officially closed on our new house this week. This weekend will bring on the start of our demo phase - some of our great network of friends will be helping out so we're hoping to have the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom wall gutted by end of the weekend. We then will have the chimney guy in on Monday to start the demo of the chimney (not the fireplace chimney). After day one of the demo - wow what a HUGE project we have in front of us! Exciting and perhaps a little stressful. I'm hoping to post more photo's along the way! We're hoping to be moved in by July!!
