Washington DC Trip

We had a great trip visiting our nations capital! Washington DC is such an exciting and different city and definitely folks move a lot faster there than Portland. It's such a walkable city - you can get everywhere by
foot or by easily
catching the metro
which was super fun.
Our timing was good since it was the beginning of the International Cherry Blossom Festival. Most of the cherry trees were in bloom!
Dave received an award for his 'Energy Star' program he manages from the EPA - he and his two clients were recognized in Washington DC at a dinner (there were 12,000 applicants received and EPA handed out 84 awards, which one of them was for Dave's program). This is why we decided to make a trip out of it.... we left on Friday and returned on Wednesday (Dave's dinner was on Tuesday night). And since I had never been to visit Washington DC, it was perfect. It's been on the 'list' for awhile now.
To view more photo's of our trip - click here, however you have to be in Kodak Gallery for it to work and I would have to email you the link. If you are interested in seeing more photo's just email us. Sorry I am unable to get it to work this way.
