Sweet! I hope your mother's day was as sweet as mine... I kindly stayed in bed a bit longer in the morning and came down stairs to find a beautiful bouquet of Lilacs on the table. Fresh cut from the backyard was a perfect treat. We moved slowly in the morning (which seems to be my speed these days, especially in the morning) and walked to one of our local breakfast spots for a late breakfast. Dave and I worked in the yard at the house (our current house) while Bailey napped and I ended my day with a pedicure which was needed (almost as bad as the yard work). I Can't really complain about my mother's day at all - and I hope you all had an enjoyable day as well.
Dave has really been working overtime at all of his jobs... last week was a busy week for him at the office and though he would come home for dinner; 3 of the evenings he was right back to the office working into the wee hours of the night (or next morning). He worked on the new house after our birthday party on Saturday and Sunday he worked in the yard at the current house. Monday he took part of the day off his real job and worked at the new house. Busy, busy, busy... but fun (I think he's still having fun with it all)!
