Island counter installed! Yippee... We went with old wine vats reused to make our butcher block top! It turned out really well and we are super excited how the kitchen is coming together. We have been on the hunt for lighting and think we know what we want thus, we are getting closer. This weekend we also found and purchased two mirrors for both bathrooms. We are hoping we like what we picked from Simply Grand Antiques. After scoring our mirrors, and thanks to Candy and Manny (our friend Christie, parents) for watching Bailey for a few hours on Sunday so I could help paint Bailey's room! Also showing is another project we are working on for our Bathroom vanity in the main upstairs bathroom. We've had this piece of furniture since we were in the apartment in Northwest. Without having much luck when looking for vanity's and the new one's we actually liked were way to expensive, we decided we could make this into a really cool vanity - which is our hope and yet another project! And we're not buying new - always trying to reduce our carbon footprint!
