We got a great day to do a short hike with the kids at
Skamania Lodge, where we stayed for the night as a little get-a-way before I head back into the real world after taking 4 months off on maternity leave. 4 months seems like a long time but I feel like it has gone by so fast - like everything else in life... although with the move, new house, new neighborhood, and baby (of course) there seemed to be much more going on! We had a fun time and I think Bailey enjoyed the pool (well more like the Jacuzzi) mostly. After the hike and then water time - boy was she wiped out. Unfortunately Bailey and Mom didn't have a great night since we had a touch of some food poison (not from anything we ate at the lodge - our lunch we brought and I don't think I will eat deli turkey from now on)!

Great pics! Glad you were able to have some downtime before your maternity leave ends. But sorry about the food poisoning :(
