Chicken Coop update

I realized I never posted more photo's of the almost completed chicken coop. The outside area is fully enclosed now so we can leave the door open from the inside for the chickens to get outside. As you can see the right part of the coop is going to be the tool shed. A much needed space so we can clear out the garage and hang our bikes, etc...

We also have cedar shingles to put over the plywood on the front part. Since we have them it will make it look much nicer. Isn't it quite the

structure? We normally let the chickens out in the yard when we get home from work during the week and if we're around during the weekend. They like to hang out in the neighbors yard most of the time... there's a nice shaded area under some tall bushes. Luckily Nathan doesn't mind the chickens! More to come... hopefully we'll have the tool shed done by Fall time but our weekends are looking pretty busy. Perhaps it will be a fall project.
