Bailey's 1st hike in the snow...

Thanksgiving weekend we went on my first hike in the snow! It was cold out but I was bundled up in my snow suit that my cousin's Todd/Roxanne and family got me. After we made it to the lake, unfortunately we couldn't see Mt. Hood in the background like we were thinking we would it was cloud covered, but dad took me out of the pack and let me play around in snow. If I could have picked up the snow or felt it may have been easier but because my fingers were covered up I couldn't do much. After finishing the loop and heading back I got really cranky and mom and dad couldn't figure it out until we got back to the van and realized how cold my feet were. They only had them covered up with the suit and when they let me play in the snow - snow got down in my feet. It was cold and it did not make me happy. I think mom and dad learned their lesson on this trip - and glad they didn't give me hypothermia.
