Merry Christmas 2007

We woke up dark early on Christmas eve and caught our 6am flight out of Portland. Although the Hetherington family normally are not early risers I think this flight time made it easy on me and I did great during both flights. I slept a lot on the first flight into Denver and then after eating and walking around a bit we loaded up on the 2nd portion of the flight into Indianapolis with no fussiness again. I did great! (unfortunately the way home to Portland was not as easy for me)!
After arriving we drove to our friends house for an early Christmas eve gathering and saw my mama and papa, uncle Chris and Aunt Angie and cousins and one of my admires' Aunt Marsha. She reads by blog all of the time so I love that I was able to see her again. GG Doris was there and looking great as ever and I really hope she is feeling good and taking care. We were at Benji's house which my mom hadn't seen for years and funny to see him all grown up.
After spending time there for a few hours we loaded back up in the car and headed South to my Grammy and pappy's house to eat a late dinner (early for us since we were on West coast time). Jill, Tim and kid's were there so we were able to celebrate Christmas with them.
I slept in on Christmas morning until 10:30 (Indiana time)! Grammy and pappy couldn't believe it and they all waited patiently for me to wake up and eat our traditional waffles on Christmas morning.
I even had a stocking with presents in it for me! Of course I have no idea what all the fuss was and I kept looking in the stocking for more things. I pulled some fun bath toys out of it!
We had a very nice Christmas eve and morning....
