Olympic National Forest

What a great trip to the Olympic National Forest! Definitely worth the time and drive! Huge tree's everywhere, beautiful clear, bluish river on the HOH River, rain forest, lot's of moss, Ocean, Lakes and spectacular Olympic mountains to end our trip. We started off the trip at Lake Quinault, ate lunch at Ruby beach - looking over to the ocean, camped in the Hoh Rain Forest on the Hoh river, through Forks (for you Twilight fans; 2nd movie filmed there), camped in Mora on the beach, lunch at Lake Cresent (the lodge is where President Roosevelt and folks met to discuss making the area part of the National forest), Hurricane Ridge - deep fog for about 15 miles up and then WOW breathtaking views of the Olympic mountains, to Sequim (where David had to do some work so we got to clean up and hang at the hotel) and completing the loop back down highway 101 back through Olympia.
